We have an unprecedented crisis in the Fairfax-Falls Church community. The current economic downturn has brought increased unemployment, decreases in wages and an overall greater gap between average incomes and the costs of daily living.
The requests for help with basic immediate needs, such as food and rent, is greater than nonprofits, faith-based communities, governments and schools can meet.
This crisis affects our entire community. Our neighbors are the ones who need our help. By coming together as a community, we can better help those most in need, because Fairfax cares!
